MTRW: Upper Body Strength and Power

Hi guys,

I think balance between upper and lower body is so  beneficial to overall strength and I really get sad when I see overdeveloped upper bodies with chicken legs or considerable small upper body development with huge leg. Overall balance does not only give you a great streamlined look but also enables you to have better overall power. That said we had a lower body focus workout yesterday so today is for upper body to shine. Of course we use all our muscles no matter what we do but this time the grater emphasis is on your upper body.

Workout Breakdown:

  1. Warm up 10 min
  2. Kettlebell (KB) swing | 2 rounds with three different sizes of kettlebells | 15 each side
  3. KB High pull | 2 rounds with three different sizes of kettlebells | 15 each side
  4. KB Snatch | 2 rounds with three different sizes of kettlebells | 15 each side
  5. Superset:
    • Pull-ups & Dips | 4 rounds | max effort

Stretch.

Have a great weekend.
