MTRW: Spartan Workout

Hi guys,

I am always on the look out for new ideas for my workouts, weather the whole workout or in most cases I select what I like and make a routine out of a mesh of different tools and training techniques. So the other day I was browsing and found an inspiration. I was planning to do it on Friday but stayed up too late last night (an exception rather then a rule) and with only short time before Zumba I decided to give this a try.

Workout Breakdown: 3 rounds | 10 exercises | 60 sec work | 15 min rest | continuous work no breaks between rounds

Equipment: 216 kg kettlebells

  1. KB squat – 23 |16 | 12
  2. Mountain climber – 14 | 15 | 16
  3. Alternating KB swing –  15 | 17 | 11
  4. Push up to side plank – 7 | 6 | 6
  5. Jumping lunges – 18 | 14 | 15
  6. KB bilateral rows – 18 | 18 | 18
  7. KB side lunge – 10 | 10 | 12
  8. KB plank rows – 6 | 7 | 7
  9. KB front lunge with a twist – 7 | 7 | 7
  10. KB bilateral jerk press – 6 | 6 | 6

Total Score (sum of all the lowest numbers): 107

My score are next to the exercises (left + right = 1 rep). I am positive I can do better and will attempt this next week with lots of rest this time.
