I know what it means to start all over, after what seems like you have nothing left and you have worked so hard to be where you wanted to be but then new inspiration comes and here I am again starting all lover. I do not think that starting all over necessarily has to be a growing pain that one has to accept. But I do think that a lot of times we do not want to follow new beginnings becasue we know how much work that means. Because we have worked so hard to get where we are today and we (at least I do) feel entitled for that past work to somehow trickle into the current engagement buying us a shortcut. The truth is there are no shortcuts. If  any house that is built without solid foundation has a new endeavor knock on its door to make it happen and get the best results we first have to put in the hard work and hours that it needs. Especially when we take our gifts and periods of ease for granted. It is so hard to put into full gear and start all over again.

Summer is around the corner AGAIN and who would not want to have a lean and toned physique. So here is your workout for today: 4 rounds | reps each | tempo 2:2:2

  • Ab wheel bridges
  • Resistance band dead lift
  • Glute pulses
  • Fire hydrant
  • Resistance band crab walks
  • Reverse plank + glute lifts
  • Explosive jump lunges

New term: TEMPO that is the rhythm of the rep

If a squat tempo says 2:2:2 that means it takes you 2 counts to lower into a squat : hold for 2 counts in the lowest position : 2 counts to come up : 2 counts at the top range of motion (i.e. squeeze those glutes…make those buns burn)
