POP Nutrition| Spiced and Crunchy Cashew Granola Bars

Hi guys,

I know I have been of the radar (between work and being sick it has been almost impossible to find time to make my posts) but starting next week we are back with the 90 Day Pilo-Yoga Challenge. Today my boyfriend and I going to the Appalachian trail the first in this summer hiking series…so stay tuned and of course to help us with the hike I made Spiced and Crunchy Cashew Granola Bars just like Natures Valley crunch – I always liked their crunch but we like cashews so here it is:

Spiced Crunchy Cashew Granola Bars 6

 Ingredients:

Cooking Steps:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325F. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients.Spiced Crunchy Cashew Granola Bars dry ingridinets
  3. Add honey and oil. Mix well until uniform.Spiced Crunchy Cashew Granola Bars mixture
  4. Place the mixture into the baking tray and wrap with plastic wrapper. Press firmly so it is evenly distributed which will help for the bars to be crunchy.Spiced Crunchy Cashew Granola Bars
  5. Bake for 25 min. Let it cool for 5 min when done. Spiced Crunchy Cashew Granola Bars cooked 3
  6. Take out and cut into squares but do not separate. Allow to cool completely then break of the bars. They will get crunchier as they cool and hold better together.Spiced Crunchy Cashew Granola Bars 3
